We offer a very fun and not too strenuous hunt on thousands of acres of private land, with some of it planted in corn, which helps keep the elk nearby. This is a 3-day guided hunt with mostly driving and glassing for elk, then spot and stalk from there for a closer shot. Hunters will take care of their food and lodging in nearby Vernal, Utah, which has motels, restaurants and stores. We hunt in August, then November thru January and guides will field dress and deliver elk back to ranch house or to the local butcher for processing. Tags have been over the counter and leftovers for both residents and non-residents for the last few years.
